Status Quo

Hi!

Everyone is happy and lovin' life here, like always.

Here are our updates:

Sarah's fat, like always.

Lindsay's been eating lots of candy while wearing a tutu, like always.

Allison's been having a good time, like always.

Steve's gone, like always.

(Insert invisible picture of Steve)

And I'm feeling slightly insane, like always.

For example, here are a few shots of things I've found around my house lately.

The shadow of another toy. . .

Am I the only one who finds this slightly odd? Is the universe trying to tell me something?

(This is NOT an announcement in any way.)

You have alien shadows in your house! I would be slightly crazy too ;)

I strongly advise you to get rid of the toy that caused the creepy shadow!

It's so good to get an update!

That shadow is freaky.

I'm looking forward to starting those quilts with you this week! We need to hang out more, especially since Steve has been gone a lot.

Sometimes the status quo is a very good thing- it's much better than lots of bad news!!
I had to laugh at Steve's invisible picture... I know it's not easy having a hubby that's literally away so much, but you've kept your sense of humor about it!
The alien shadow is kinda creepy...
I love your updates!

Baw haha, I hope the meaning I was getting from the snake and eggs was intended otherwise I have had a strange and somewhat dirty conclusion from your pictures...although with invisible Steve it may be a little difficult for any announcement to be made...I SO know how you feel...although, we are way luckier (is that a word) since this will be the final four months of servitude. Sorry, don't mean to make you jealous. When all is over you have to move back to UT so we can be neighbors again...I miss you.

Thank you Lindsay. You did get my meaning!

Wow I thought you were trying to tell us something for a minute. The invisible picture was really funny.--I know it's not funny in reality though.

Status quo can be a good thing. Sorry Steve is gone so much, but it seems you are doing pretty well despite that. (Yeah, I know there are bad days, too.) Your girls are as adorable as ever! My girls miss them and you.

I didn't get it until I read the comments. Ha ha. I've decided to never expect John to be home and then I'm not disappointed. It's a mental game for me...mostly.

Nice... I love seeing your kiddo's and reading your posts. They ARE stinkin' cute little rug rats, even if they are into everything. Glad to see you're not TOTALLY insane. I may be if the roles were switched... perhaps that's why YOU are the one with the husband (thought absent) and kids :) LOVE Ya!

LOVE IT! After 5 kids I'm no longer paying attention to the Universe's advice.

I'm glad to hear you are alive and well. :)
