Welcome to our life

Steve had a long day at work today and didn't get home until after 8:00 tonight. I let Allison stay up late, but I put Lindsay down early. This is what I heard while Steve and I were saying our prayers tonight at 10:30 . . .

". . . and thank you for our beautiful little girls, Allison and Lindsay. Huh. I didn't even see Lindsay today. . ."

Wow, Steve. Your power of observation is overwhelming. Glad you just picked that up.

Gratitude is an important element of prayer. We're happy to know that you do and are!

Unfortunately from Jan-May John had many days in a row he wouldn't see Spencer, I always felt bad.

Gotta love residency, and the associated mental warps. Actually, you don't have to love it - but it helps to be able to laugh at the craziness. Thanks.

Brilliant observation, Steve. Glad you picked up on that tidbit. :)
Now, when you were done with your prayer, did you go in and kiss your sleeping baby?

We had some days like that when Ray was traveling for work... I don't miss that! Glad he is home more often now.

I love that he just blurted it out in the middle of the prayer, that's so funny.

Sounds like our life! Corey sometimes goes days without seeing the kids...it never crossed my mind when we were roommates that how many years later we'd still be sharing some of the same experiences? :)

It is no surprise to see that Steve-O-Gammonite is still the hard-working man and great example to us all! Hope you guys are loving life in OH and that all is going well for Dr Gammon's ortho residency.

How much longer, Jamie? You are my hero, for sure. Chad's hours can get pretty wacky, but nothing like this!!! I saw your mom tonight at a shower for Michelle, and told her how much I love seeing your blog. We miss you.
